Mrs. Mary LeBlanc
Kindergarten
My name is Mary LeBlanc and I have the privilege of working with Kindergarten this year!
This will be my sixth year teaching, and fourth in kindergarten, I'd previously been teaching in French Immersion with Ecole Our Lady of the Rosary school in Sylvan Lake. I am a graduate from a very small university in New Brunswick where my extended family originates from and still holds a large part of my heart (both the mountains and the ocean feel like home to me) , as well as my Bachelor of Education at St. Mary's in Calgary, where I (mostly) grew up.
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors (running especially is one of my passions, I ran my first marathon in 2020 and am hoping to run a half marathon at some point in the spring) and art-- I can often be found with a paintbrush, embroidery hoop, or knitting needles in my hand.
