Mrs. Amanda Matier
Kindergarten
I was born and mostly raised in Red Deer, Alberta. I moved to Grande Prairie, AB in 2000 where I met my husband. Since then we have lived in many different places including Edmonton where I got my degree in Elementary Education in 2012. Since then we have lived in Red Deer, and I have worked for Red Deer Catholic Schools my whole career. It is an absolute pleasure to teach in such a welcoming and child-focused division.
During my time away from school I love to spend time with my family and friends. We love to go camping with our daughter Maggie, and our trusty dog Mickey. I love to bake, read books and watch the Bachelor, amongst all the time I spend taking Maggie to all her extracurriculars.
