Grade 2

My name is Peggy Wright.  This is my tenth year teaching grade two at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys school.  I was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta and come from a family with 9 siblings.  This is where I learned to be patient and flexible.   I moved to Grande Cache, Alberta to pursue a teaching career.  I spent many years there (more than 17) teaching mostly grade one.  This is also where I had my two babies.  I moved from Grande Cache to Innisfail to be closer to family.

I have been married for 31 years to my husband, Glen.  I have two children.  My son, Liam,  is 20 years old. My daughter, Ciara, is 19 years old.  I am not much of a traveller but I do enjoy camping in the summer and reading all year long.  I enjoy doing crafts and painting.

Teaching is my passion and I have been lucky enough to have been a teacher for most of my adult life.  Our Lady of Peace is my parish and I have been a Children’s liturgy teacher, Eucharistic minister, reader and have prepared many children for both sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion.
